Talk at CPDP.ai 2025 Conference

I’ve been invited to participate in the opening panel of CPDP.ai conference, the largest international conference for privacy academics and professionals, in May 2025. The panel was organised by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and chaired by its CEO, Trevor Hughes.

Together with MEP Aura Salla (Member of the European Parliament), Sylvie De Oliveira (Group DPO for L’Oréal), Gaia Marcus (Director of the Ada Lovelace Institute), and Eduardo Ustaran (Partner and global co-lead of the Privacy and Cybersecurity practice at Hogan Lovells), we addressed the topic « Responding to Digital Responsibility: Turning Entropy into Governance« . We dived into questions like how do regulators tackle the challenge of overlapping policy domains and competences ; what workable models of cooperation are emerging ; or how do commercial organizations address risk management against scattered cross-functional governance obligations.
