Talk on AI sustainability at the 2025 World AI Summit in Paris

I had the privilege of delivering a talk during the Scientific Days of the AI Summit for Action held in Paris in February 2025. My presentation was focused on the intersection between AI, sustainability and regulation. I argued that deregulation is not the good way forward and presented some lessons we can learn from the past to build « good » regulatory frameworks. The AI-environment nexus being a complex problem, it calls for a complexity-aware regulatory response.
